  Limo Hire Watford

limo hire WatfordWe all know that Watford is not only a borough in West Hertfordshire located under 20 miles northwest of central London but is also a place extremely popular with Club Goers. Watford saw the M25 motorway build nearby near on 30 years ago.

Cassiobury Park is a public park situated on the north side of Watford which was once the manor estate of the Earls of Essex. The town is home of course to Watford Football Club which has had an interesting yoyo performance over the past 10 years having visited and left football highest league, the English Premier League. Currently they are in the level immediately below the Premiership as it is also known siting just short of automatic promotion from the Championship back for the third (some hardened Watford FC fans pray that it will last longer than the single season visits of the past!) back into the Premiership. We at Tuxedo Limos hope for that too.

St Albans Abbey claimed rights to the manor of Cashio (as they would), which included Watford township. Travellers from Londinum (London!) passing through to Berkhamsted and the royal palace built at Kings Langley later to the 17th century houses of Cassiobury and that of the The Grove (where today one of the world's top hotels languishes called oddly enough The Grove). When the Grand Junction Canal came along in 1798 followed shorly afterwards by the London and Birmingham Railway 39 years later this then accelerated Watford town's growth. The canal and railway supported local paper-making mills such as John Dickinson at Croxley and Kings Langley leading on to printing in the region, something we see to this day. Then followed two large brewers of Benskins and Sedgwicks until late on in the late 20th century.
